This is a miniature whole body skeleton replica of a Humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae).
It was made by 3D scanning real bones.
This is a specimen for the Osaka Museum of Natural History, using 3D data that can be used commercially.
The phalanges and prop are thickened so that they can be output with a 3D printer.

[Production method]
Light-curing resin is used as the material.
After outputting with a light-curing 3D printer, the material is colored to look like bone.
The model will be delivered fixed to the pedestal with a harigane to ensure a long and stable display.
